Gun shots close the scene

Deep dream. About feeling comfortable. Was behaving autistically around a gang membery wise guy / a pseudointellectual. They were commenting on my quick wit and how its directionless attention was an indicator of my need to really hammer out the details. That I should find out what soothes me — in the water park, what attracts me most? What parts of the water slide/positions (on my back, etc.). Also, thinking about a rollercoaster and its various segments, the gang member thug dude (eating chips or just simultaneously doing something which contradicts of his earlier anti-distractibility doctrine) was going on about how one should try to memorize their favorite parts of films/elements of pop culture in order to really appreciate it/come to have a certain taste/aesthetic opinion. Almost a commentary on the negativistic aspects of reliance upon information gained through immediate insight (i.e., intuition). Interesting dream. Felt grounding, though in a strange, less satisfying way (physically). Somehow intellectually still stimulating, given the mental gymnastics employed in the interpretation of their views. Woke up to some poppy noises. Pretty sure they were gun shots. Not entirely sure now due to lack of sirens/ambulances. But definitely heard two distinct rounds along with at least one extremely fast moving car.
