As a disclaimer: I’ll say this was one part of a dream among many others I had during this dream cycle (check out “Dream world exploration”) and long sleep period. Another disclaimer: in this dream cycle Mario is not a bad guy, and the point of view from the villains of the dream. The character I was playing most of the time was on Mario’s side. Peach, Luigi, and Bowser appeared too, but the villain POV are not Mario characters. And yes, I know I’m a grown man having dreams of Mario characters, it happens. This is also not meant to be scary, more so funny, but when I had this dream it REALLY scared me. In a somewhat dark room with wooden walls and floors, these two men are watching TV and talking to each other. On the TV there are two women driving a car, some kind of Jeep or go cart. They’re driving on the beach, the wind blowing through their hair. The shots are pretty bad and the video is grainy like something shot in the 70s. The film cuts away from the two women driving to shots of the ocean and mountains. The two men aren’t paying attention to the film, instead talking to each other. Not even glancing at it. And now we’re looking at the TV, and the film cuts back to the car. In this Jeep or kart, it’s no longer the two women driving, but instead, it’s Mario. He’s staring directly at the camera. Driving on the beach in this kart, not taking his eyes off the viewer, a blank expression in his face. One of the men talking catches sight of the film. He directs the other man’s attention to it. He says, “why is he there... why is he staring at us...” And then, “why is he getting closer.” And he is getting closer. Each shot getting closer to Mario, some shots it seems he’s driving in the camera’s direction, until cutting away to a closer shot. Starting with a shot far away, but close enough to see his face. Now is getting closer, and closer with different angles. Until the camera is right up in his face as he stares daggers at the camera. A blank expression, yet a murderous one. He drives directly towards the camera, towards the viewers of the film. Quickly zooming in on his face. Right up to him, he’s speeding at you. And he jumps at of his kart and lunges at you, jumping through the TV and
