Trekking and the coal siding

I and two friends were trekking. One was a woman, probably Swapna. We wandered into a coal siding. Place was messy and several unruly laborers were there. On an impulse Swapna and the other guy crossed a barricade and went towards a stationary train. I stayed behind looking on, apprehensive. A few of these ruffians too followed them. On reaching them, one of the men seemed to pour some inflamable liquid on Swapna's backpack and proceeded to light it. It happened so fast - that guy was so casual - she couldnt react, neither could I.
