falling off a cliff

I was on Yosemite (it was on the edge of the ocean though) with a group of people. We were sitting on the edge of a cliff watching huge (the size of baseball diamonds) sting rays swimming by. They were jumping like whales and groups of people were gathering to surf on the sting rays. I kept loosing my grip and almost falling off the cliff.
