Lassie?

In a house. Lamp illuminating room in yellowish light. An older man in wellies? He wears dark clothes, like a lighthouse worker or something to do with boats and the sea. A border collie or similar dog but all brown or black. I let the dog smell my hand. It then licks me and I affectionately stroke and hug the dog and call her lassie. In a Scottish accent. No sense that this relates to lassie the tv dog, but is merely because I am in a Scottish environment.
