Shot by laser gun

I can only begin from where i last remember. I was in a church, sleeping on the ground. And there was 7 powerful people at my side talking amongst themselves (like world leaders or something.) Then they pull out a box and take out what looks like a retro Call of Duty looking laser gun (ik wtf I don't even like that game.) A guy was explaining what it was. It had two modes. He said that one mode shines through any object. The beam was yellow in that mode and he demonstrated. Shining it through his hand and it went right through the wall. And then they talked more and were talking about the other mode that causes instant death. Causing anyone to cease from existence. He then turned it on and pointed it at me. Just before he did, i think i closed my eyes. Then I realized i was nothing but consciousness without a vessel. My thoughts being lost as I fragmented into nothingness where space/time did not exist. I felt like my thoughts were actually being lost/corrupted like an hardrive gradually being wiped. But then i realized i can still feel what i thought to be a 'phantom' like feeling of where my heart is. I thought that shouldn't be possible. And that's when i woke up. That's the first dream i had where i died and kept dreaming afterwards.
