Missed test

I had to take a test at IU, and it's pretty far from my home so my Dad would take me to the bus station and I managed myself from there. However, when I got there, it was early so I came to the nearby school instead. I spent my time there having breakfast and chit-chatting until I realised it was 10:30, whereas my first test began at 8:30. I was so scared that I didn't know what to do at first, but somehow I came home. At home, I took another nap until my mom came home and woke me up. She then asked how the morning test was, and what time I would take the afternoon test. I was scared to tell mom that I missed the morning test, but I did after all. Contrary to my expectations, she didn't yell at me or anything and just quietly nodded. I then told her that I would find a time slot of other tests that I didn't have to take to do a catch up test. Then I look at the clock, and it was half an hour before the test (while moving they by bus takes 1 hour, and we had to show up 30mins before it). I read trying to think of a way to "teleport" there, where I was woken up by my dad.
