Burning medal

I’ve had a similar dream before, although maybe its just deja vu. I was trying to destroy this medal. I’m pretty sure it was a track medal. I put in in a fire and tried to burn it and it didn’t even glow read hot and the paint didn’t peal at all. I took it to the sink and tried to quench it and got a face full of steam. The problem was the thing didn’t look any different. All th le water had evaporated and I could still feel the heat radiating off of the medal. I took an empty tupperware container filled with and flipped it over the top of the medal. The water stayed underneath the container but the level slowly drained and didn’t even turn to steam it just disappeared leaving the medal at the bottom of the sink still looking no different. Put my hand close to it and it was still really hot. It seemed almost invulnerable. I started to worry what I would do with it. I grabbed a rag and was about to consider just tossing it onto my hill and never seeing it again. I woke up right after that so I guess I’ll never no what I actually would have. Done with it. There was more to the beginning of this dream that I can’t remember. It probably has a lot of deeper meaning that isn’t quite clear to me (although wishing I had spent less time doing sports in highschool might be what it’s about)
