Another Cruise

My family and I were on another cruise, but this time it was with my mom and sibling. Apparently there was a HUGE wake pool with HUGE wakes that was really popular. The three of us got in our swim gear and headed on down to the pool. We got in swiftly, and once all of the designated people were on, they turned the wakes on. The wakes weren’t caused by mechanics. It was by the whole ship tipping from side to side, at alarming angles. Once I realized just how ripped the boat got, I felt somewhat panic-y, but no one else really said anything, so I hid my worry. People had their phones out, trying to take pictures and videos of the whole ordeal. This was something supposedly really special and new. Zephyr had their phone out too. But the waves were getting too big (and they don’t actually know how to swim in real life) so they asked me to take their phone not long after it got badly splashed. I looked around and saw tons of people with pool floaties, which may have been an elite decision. Trying to keep yourself afloat with only manpower in a pool like that sucked. I was told to take some photos of them, so I wanted to take a cool panoramic photo. Unfortunately, everything moves around too fast for that, so it wouldn’t have realistically worked, but I tried. Shortly afterwards, the wakes stopped, and everyone with a phone (plus families) were escorted off the ship without warning. I couldn’t tell where we were, so I looked at the map on Zephyr’s phone, and saw we were on the south coast of California, around Los Angeles (geographically, but it was named something different in the dream). We walked through the port and we’re told to get on some tour busses. My mom was starting to get angry. None of the cruise-related people were answering any questions, and the people who were in the wake pool with us didn’t know anything either. I had suspected that it was because the phones were in the pool, but this seemed a little drastic. My mom refused to get on the bus, yelling and screaming at the bus driver to tell her what was going on. They were still trying to make her board the bus, but she angrily stood there, making a scene. I had finally had it and told her to cut it out. She was embarrassing me and probably bothering everyone else. I clapped back at her, telling her that she needed to stop yelling and screaming, and be civil. She angrily turned to me and grilled me a bit before I wore her down, I think.
