Floating Strawberries

I was living in a community that was flooded. The only way to get supplies were from the leaders of the community. I somehow was able to recurve a dish full of strawberries. They were floating in the water and I swam to get them. This caused some anger within the community. Why did I have the privilege of enjoying this fruit?
