Strange Doctor's checkup

I went to the doctors, for a checkup. She told me she'd be checking me with new methods. first, she put headphones on me and talked to me, the headphones made her voice echo, and I didn't respond for a few seconds because of that, and when I did respond, my voice echoed too. She noticed and said, "That's strange, they normally only echo for people you can't trust" and I laughed and said "I suppose I can't trust myself either!" She then took them away and pulled these four taupe brown, wooden walls -that went from the floor to the ceiling- around me, forming a small room, like a closet. She then moved the small room around the bigger room until she had the right position for me, then turned off all but one light, and left the room. I had no idea why and I started to freak out, wondering if this was gonna be torture, "for science"
