Crush is not interested

The dream starts off with me in a classroom but after a while it turns into a PE gym. The PE class is told by the teacher to find a partner for an activity and I get nervous because I don’t really talk to anyone in the class. As I look around the only person I notice that’s without a partner is my irl crush. I hesitate but after a while I gather the courage to ask if he wants to be my partner. He hesitates and doesn’t reply for a pretty awkward amount of time looking around him and I get the hint and say nvm. Then I turn around and leave and he feels bad so he says wait no yeah we can be partners but I pretend like I don’t hear him and continue walking away.
