Fixing a plane in flight

I’m repairing an aircraft while it is in flight. Another guy is helping me. Somehow we are also working on a scale model of the same plane at the same time… We have completed the first part of the job, working on the outside of the plane. There’s a storm ahead and I want to get it back inside plane but he’s very slow and is between me and the door so I’m starting to get nervous…
