The Tidal Wave

Today I dreamt about a tidal wave, at first it wasn’t quite there but it coming in quickly. I was with my two friends and we were desperately swimming away from it, we didnt seem to get anywhere, so one of my friends found a way to get to shore, and she just left us. My other friend seemed to disappear and I was scared and alone. Still, I managed to swim almost to the shore but then the tidal wave struck and I curled into a ball, protecting my head and just waited for it to end. It was ages before I could actually get up and I had survived, which was surprising but then I saw that the person I was, wasnt me any more! Does that mean I died? Anyway, the new person wandered around the reckage and everything was destroyed, there were countless cars battered and broken, chunks of boats floating around in the sea and so much more devastation.
