Like what even is reality

I have this super vivid dream, i'm half convinced it's a lucid dream. I'm dreaming that I've woken up, that i've heard back from this important organization that I've been waiting for an email from for weeks, I see that they've assigned me someone to help me out and oversee my work, I dream feeling overjoyed about all of this. Then reality kicks in: I wake up. I have 5 new emails, one of them is from this organization, they've assigned me someone to oversee my work.
