Kittens almost died

I was at a fancy residence teaching maybe and a fire was going and tiny kittens were about and we didn’t notice they were close to the fire and that they were inhaling lotta smote. One looked so bad I figured it would pass but I attended to another was gonna try to get oxygen into it.
