My brother's cat, Cassie, was riled up and running around the auditorium. I see her attacking another cat at the front and run to stop it. As I do, I see my mom and my brother running to stop her as well. My brother gets to her first. But before her can grab her, she runs away, chasing another cat. It's time for me to go and join the rest of the group (of 5 people including me)for a meet and greet. We meet SHINee's Key. He asks us some questions. One of them was what our favorite song was. Someone says Tongue Tied. I respond that that one was my favorite too. He asks us about what we enjoy doing. I say it was me making music and being able to enjoy music in general. Then he says that he has something for us. 5 people walk into the room, one of them including BTS' Suga! He sends each person who came for the meet and greet to the side of each person. I watch as everyone gets their person, praying I get to be with Suga. Then I'm last and the only person left without a meet and greet person is Suga! Key calls me up and I stand next to Suga. As everyone leaves to spend time with their person, I say that I still have to catch my brother's cat. I'm outside in the street now with my family and we're all looking for Cassie. We end up on a broken part of road. I look under a broken piece of road and see a few cats and take note that I don't see Cassie. The cats start trying to fight us. We fend them off. Suddenly, Cassie is there. I grab her by the scruff and my brother pulls out her carrier. I put her in. We get back to the building we were at and I rush back to the room where to meet up with Suga and Key again before they leave.
AI generated interpretation Your dream circles around a weave of responsibility, admiration, and the pull of unruly, instinctual parts of yourself. The repeated image of Cassie—your brother’s cat—riling up and darting through public space suggests a part of life that feels lively, unpredictable, and a little out of control. In Jungian terms the cat can carry a shadow or instinctual energy: something natural and animal that needs to be noticed and contained rather than punished. You and your family rushing after Cassie, and the eventual act of picking her up by the scruff and putting her in a carrier, reads like a compassionate containment of that energy—recognizing it, acting on it, and creating a boundary that lets everyone feel safer. The auditorium, the meet-and-greet, and the presence of figures you admire (Key and Suga) make the dream stage-like: part public performance, part longing for connection. Meeting celebrities in dreams often symbolizes meeting an idealized part of the self or encountering qualities you admire—charisma, artistry, approval. Your answer about making music and enjoying music places creativity at the heart of your identity in the dream. Being one of five and watching others get paired before you speaks to social comparison and anticipation; the relief and delight of being chosen last—standing next to Suga—captures a blend of desirability and the fear of missing out being resolved in your favor. There’s a tension here between private duty and public desire. You leave the meet-and-greet to finish the unfinished business of catching Cassie, then later rush back—this back-and-forth reflects waking-life juggling: obligations to family, caretaking tasks, and personal ambitions or opportunities you don’t want to lose. The broken road and the cluster of cats hiding beneath it bring a different tone: neglected or repressed issues lurking under the surface that can become defensive or hostile if disturbed. Fending off those cats before finding Cassie suggests resilience and the need to protect yourself (and loved ones) while doing the necessary excavating of difficult material. Emotionally the dream leans into protectiveness mixed with yearning. You worry and mobilize for the cat, you hope for an intimate moment with someone you admire, and you ultimately secure both the pet and the meeting—imagery that feels like integration. From a psychological point of view this might indicate you are learning to manage impulsive or disruptive parts of your life without sacrificing access to your creative and aspirational goals. Symbolically, the carrier is important: it’s containment that respects the animal’s nature while keeping it safe; metaphorically you may be moving toward healthier boundaries for instinctual urges or messy responsibilities. Taken together, the dream invites a gentle reading: you are someone who balances caretaking and longing, who fears being last but also can find belonging, and who is learning to face hidden complications rather than ignore them. Consider what in your waking life feels like Cassie right now—something lively, a little unruly, needing attention—and what feels like the meet-and-greet—an opportunity or ideal you hope to connect with. The dream seems to encourage compassionate action (catching the cat) and bold following of your creative impulses (standing beside the figure you admire), suggesting you’re in a phase of integrating practical responsibility with personal aspiration.
