It starts with a movie trailer, about a sea monster. The acting looks terrible, B quality special effects, I'm pretty sure it stars Tara Reid, think Sharknado. This creature is a force of nature. Then I'm standing at the bank of the Potomac River in Washington DC. Looking at the key bridge in front of me, below it a single little row boat with two fishermen seated inside, lines cast into the water patiently waiting for a bite. Not sure what they'll catch or whether I'd be comfortable eating from these waters. The ground starts to shake, the river lashes out crashing against the shore in waves rippling out from the exact spot where that boat sits. Suddenly the water erupts underneath the boat flinging the fishermen into the water. From that spot a massive creature with a long scaly serpentine body rises from the water into the air. Suspends itself mid air and screams at us with an ear splitting two tone screech. It's a Gyrados(yes, the Pokemon). Rain is falling from the sky, the river is rising. The Gyrados takes off into the sky and vanishes leaving panic and still rising flood waters behind. In a last ditch effort to save the city they decide to open up the dam. apparently the Potomac has a dam in my dreams. The waters start to recede through the dam spilling onto God knows what exists below. Suddenly my wife is there, she says her car is parked at the bottom of the dam. She's gonna go check on it. I wake up. No word on what happened to the fishermen.
