I was working in a office and my old boss, Denise, called me to prepare for the meeting that was about to take place. I had to give some an employee of the month that looked like someone design on MS Paint (R.I.P.). For some odd reason, I put my name on the ‘employee of the month’. “Shit!” I thought to myself, “why did I do that?”. I scribbled my name out and started to rummage thru my drawers to find another. “O shit... that was the last copy” I said to myself. Denise walked in and say “everyone is waiting on you, so hurry up”. I was frantically trying everything to amend the situation but everything I tried didn’t seem to work at all. “Fuck it” I thought to myself. I walked into the meeting room, which turned out to be the size of a theatre with hundreds of eyes beaming at me. My boss wasn’t pleased, when I try to lighten the situation with a joke and present the “employee of the month” to an arrogant bastard, that I didn’t like. Next scene: I was in the car with my mate, Lee. We were to go to a school reunion meet up but he wanted me to go with him to get his car M.O.T.. He was driving frantically down these small tight lanes, being sling side to side. “I think you need to slow down mate” responding to his driving style but he didn’t listen to a word I said. The roads began to morph into strange organic roads like veins. It was so strange. I immediately told Lee to stop the car, in which he did. “Do you know where you’re going?”, he looked at me with a confusing expression. “I think so?” He replied. I suggested to drive the car and get the car sorted out with the M.O.T.. Throughout the journey back, he wasn’t himself at all. So I decided to take him back some and reassure him that I’ll sort out his car. Next scene: I woken up in my bed and pondering to myself “what shall I do today?”. I had this spontaneous moment where to would move and go back to uni and do a masters degree. So I did. I moved into this house that was next to a bridge. It was ideal, as uni was just on the other of the this small bridge. I began my first day at uni and got up early, so I could explore the uni abut before my lecture begins. As I was walking across this small bridge, it took forever to cross it, as the bridge somehow extended itself. By the time, I reach the other side, my first lecture already finished. “bollocks” I said to myself. Then people started to gather around a building with scaffolding. I lone fireman was trying to save a black cat, when the cat did a huge leap and disappeared. The fireman looked really embarrassed and just froze. So I called the firemen and said “there seems to be a scared cat trapped in a tree but he’s dressed as a fireman”. Seconds later, a fire crew appeared and rescued the fireman. I walked off and headed back home, when I seen a office space letting offer. I was intrigued and arranged to view the office. I met a short fat guy, who was very sweaty and sleazy salesman, in an open space.... in the middle of the high street. “So here we are, you’ve got great views and plenty of open space for your office.” Giving me to sales sleazy sales pitch. “I love it! I take it!” I instantly said. Spontaneous kicking in again. I sign the lease in haste without checking how long the lease was for. He hands me a set of imaginary keys to my new office. With my excitement, I go out and buy a load of office equipment. The next day, I wake up and get ready for work. I leave early, in order to cross this bloody bridge. I notice the clouds are a bit grey but I felt positive, I didn’t need to feel worried. The high street on the way to work was very busy. I got into my new office and began to write (what I was writing, I have no idea?) then the clouds open and began to rain heavy. Despise being soaked through, I closed my imagine window, thinking the rain wouldn’t come in and get the place wet. I continued writing in my open office space with the continuous large amount of rain. On my way back home, As I was about to cross the bridge, a old Japanese man wear a yellow raincoat standing on top of rails, as if he was going to jump off. “Are you ok?” I asked. “I’m with the unions and I’m protesting” he said. I asked him what was he protesting about but he wouldn’t say. I looked down at the water below. It looked harsh with violent waves clashing into each other. I tried to persuade and help the guy out but he wasn’t having any of it. I was left feeling helpless and drenched from the continuous rain, I made my retreat and headed home.
