Feeding Nuts to Raccoons

In this dream I was living somewhere else that I've never seen irl, and found out there was a clearing down the hill from my house where raccoons congregated at night. There were like 20 of them. They weren't afraid of people and I was feeding them some sort of nuts. They would come up and take one from me with both of their little hands, and they let me pet them. Their fur was course and bristly, but it was still really cool.
