old lady bday & the boys

i was at a birthday party for a really old lady in this apartment but i was super early so no one was there. i was staring out the window at these two boys playing basketball. on started climbing the building and jumped through my window, soon after the other followed. i was scared they were going to rob me or something, but they just sat down and hung out. they asked me why i was listening to “that music” and i said indie music was calming. they listened and eventually liked it! i got them fruit snacks and waters, we talked about la croix for a bit, and then people started showing up and they left through the window. then the old lady was super agile and when she was going to blow out the candles of the tall cake she was hoppin around and jumping on the table and stuff.
