The WORST skiing experience ever.

I am with Yi Min, Olivier and a small kid and we go skiing with a skiing teacher, even though we are pretty capable (at least me and Olivier). Apparently I knew this place cause I talked about that with Yi Min. To go up you were gonna go in a elevator, not a skiing lift. This elevator is very sketchy and I talked about my discontent. A very rusty small elevator. Next to it is a diagonal iron triangle support beam, which doesn’t move out of your sight. Yi Min started with the topic about the elevator falling and Olivier was not comfortable that this was brought up. Yi Min was just trying to say that his belly tickles when he falls and he doesn’t like that. I say that when we fall it is going to be so shit because the fall is long. The iron beam would probably not leave our sight then as well. I saw only black pistes on our way up. When we got up, there was another skiing lift which was optional. We took it. It was super weird and I had never seen any thing like that before. The system consisted of a small unstable chair and a support for your legs to prevent falling from that small chair. A sort of workout machine or roller coaster cart. I was the fourth of our group to go because I slipped before the small kid so I could see how it went with him. When I lowered the support beams I realized that I didn’t understand how this system worked. I sat super uncomfortable and thought I would eventually fall. The kid got it right however just as everyone else. I made one adjustment and it was slightly less comfortable but still dangerous. There was a low pass above the ground and a worker from a restaurant saw me and helped me. You needed to put your sheens under the leg support apparently and that sounded counter intuitive. It worked though! I thanked him and he walked back. The lift passed through a small opening from his restaurant and I saw his boss being annoyed with him. Leaving the lift was hard as wel. The area for leaving was small so you had little time. I kicked my legs up to get rid of the beam. Grabbed my skis and just as the seat turned away to return downwards, I grabbed my bright blue jacket from the back. Now I saw that things got even worse. We had to wait for our entire group on a small piece of snow where there was a giant cliff on the other side of the lift. Luckily no one came after the kid, but when the kid came the teacher tried to have some small talk instead of ski. I dropped one of my gloves and something else and both things went downwards to the ravine. There were some wooden small plants preventing them from falling. I grabbed the first thing and the remaining glove fell even further because I needed to slide down to grab it. It was on the edge on the last possible plant. I put my right foot on the last plant to get as much down as possible without falling and tried to grab the glove. I got it but I realized my life was in danger. If one plant would fail I would die a horrible death. I cried for help to my teacher who fucking ignored me at first. He kept talking and I repeated ‘I don’t wanna die’ multiple times quickly. I asked Olivier to stand up and see if it was a cliff and if it was big. He said yes. The teacher eventually taught a last resort saving technique and reached me his hand, lying on his belly. I survived but I didn’t want to have the skiing lessons anymore. Fuck this place, I thought.
