Burnt to a crisp

I can’t remember the majority of the beginning, I know I was outside for most of it Eventually I think was alone in night. Afraid of something, the forest around me was dark and i might have been running away from something. I remember the fear. Then I was someone new, looking for the person I used to be. Me and a group of people set out to find those who went missing last night. After a bit of searching, we came across a swap like area with an island and a tree. I parted from the group for a moment to see what’s on the other side of the small hill blocking the view What I found was a group of bodies burnt to a crisp. They were charcoal black with no facial features. Nothing left to distinguish them at all. After getting over the shock and disgust, I found some sort of note or something (I can’t remember). It mentioned that the person I’m looking for (first version of me), had a blue cat key-chain flashlight. I searched the body closest to me and was relieved to find nothing. When I turned to the next one though, it was a fully intact body. I continued like it was such all along, and found the key-chain connected to his(?) phone. I found out he was alive then called to my search companions to tell them the good news. I think I woke up after that. Notes that for some reason stated vivid 1:The other version of me that was a dude for some reason had black hair and a plain, childish sense of style. 2:The clue I got about the other version of me was from the first body 3: I was clearly myself when running through the forest, but for some reason that version of me changed as my POV did. 4:the group of bodies were piled up together, all completely identical, given their clothes and skin was burnt off
