End of the World, Floating Through Space

I only remembered this dream hours after I woke. There was a comet hurling towards us, but we thought little of it. We all thought it would circle the Earth like most. But it didn't. The Earth blew up. I thought we were all dead, but somehow, some houses survived. We were one of those. It was a 3 story house. I don't remember who was left, I don't remember much about what we all did, except that it was unbearably cold. Also, in order to stabilize our journey, floating through space, we had to "flip" the rooms. And I mean that literally. It was like the floors were on hinges, and we had to all move to one side of the room, once per hour, and let the floor lift and turn while we scramble to re-stabilize after it'd done an entire rotation. It was my job to ensure each room on each floor did this regularly.
