my first time lucid dreaming! also trying to take down alien slugs

so basically i was in this world and these slug/alien tings were gonna take over this world and i was stuck in this house in the bedroom with like 2 or 3 other allies and every night we would listen to them whisper their plans but we could only listen cause we didn’t wanna be killed and like at one point i realized that i was having a dream and started lucid dreaming (my first ever lucid dream!! it was incredible) suddenly everything became more clear and i was able to control my actions. i stood up and ate a pickle, just to test, and it felt real. i ran to another room in the house, and tried to conjure one of my real life friends (that i want to be more than friends with) so that we could talk (maybe more) because i was so done with this hellish scenario. since it was my first time lucid dreaming i wasn’t sure what to do. i tried closing my eyes and opening them again but it didn’t work. i also tried spinning around and jumping, all things that i heard would work. nothing worked, and nobody appeared. then i remembered that i read something about it being possible to wake up if you get too excited. unfortunately, at the moment, i was feeling elation and disappointment, so my emotions were running pretty rampant. i could feel the landscape blurring, as i was waking up. i REALLY didn’t wanna leave, so i decided it would be best for me to return to the old plot, so i stopped trying to conjure somebody, calmed myself, and ran downstairs. i met up with one of my allies, because i decided i wanted. to try and escape, instead of being trapped. me and my ally did this escape route thing that we had planned out, and it worked! we were out, and next we were trying to figure out how to take down those things, but as we were reading the news about the situation with the alien slugs, i woke up.
