Granny Betty's Goodbye

I was sleeping and felt someone in my house. It was an in-between stage of being asleep and awake. I arose from my bed without getting out of it, to look around. No one was there, but I still felt their presence. When I closed my eyes I saw them walk slowly through the door and around the bed, to stand beside me. Without saying anything, I saw Granny smiling and looking down at me. She was very happy. She had on her favorite outfit, a pink flannel jacket and blue jeans. She passed away three days before my dream. In the Ojibwe belief the 4th day is when the soul crosses over to the other side. I believe Granny was saying goodbye. In the end of my dream, she touched my arm very lightly with her small hand. I felt every second of her fragile touched, then I saw her walk away very slow. When I awake, I felt peace. Granny had given me closure.
