The One Where I Tell Aunt Buggy Off

I’m at my house with Elliott, Audrey, my parents, Renee, and Aunt Buggy. I’m sitting at the console behind the couch painting a piece of cardboard white. Renee is in the nursery with the kids when Aunt Buggy reveals that she and Aunt Marni are probably going to start dating. I don’t even look up from painting but say, “Oh boy. Well goody-goody gumdrop!” in a weirdly detached voice. I then start calmly telling Aunt Buggy off about the whole situation, stumbling over my words at first but then figuring out everything I want to say. Renee walks back in the room and I tell her the news.
