The One Where Paley Is Knocked Up

I’m in a house I don’t recognize with Brody’s family when I learn that Paley is pregnant. I feel suddenly lightheaded as I try to process this information. I grab a blanket and walk into the kitchen where Brianna and Paley are standing. I throw the blanket over all three of us and say, “Paley… is it Bryson’s?” She smiles and casually tells me that it is. I vaguely wonder how her parents will feel about her getting knocked up by the guy whose praises they’re always singing … I’m at a beach somewhere when I hear that Matt and Taylor have apparently lost a baby. I’m sick to my stomach and see a book with a picture of them — standing in front of a pavilion that I’m looking at on the beach — on the cover. I decide that I’ll send them flowers and a letter when I see a cloud shaped like an airplane.
