Government caused tsunami: population control

So I dreamt that there was a tsunami about to hit Sydney, but it was secretly organised by the government. So while the tsunami was happening, I was also trying to hide from the government. They treated it as population control and were killing during the tsunami as well. I rescued a little girl and hid in an Asian grocer. We got found and searched by the government, but they had to let us go because there were witnesses. Then there was a second wave, we hid on a plane, hoping the water wouldn’t penetrate the steel. After the destruction was over, the little girl had no family so I decided to take her in. We moved to a nearby island with only a small village on it, who lived without electricity and didn’t speak English. We got around, however.
