A lucky moment of beauty

Only fragments of dreams remembered this morning. My sister needing me to take her to work in another city. Needing me to bring her food on her dinner break. Another Tim dream. He was in my car and trying to verbally control me. I somehow tricked him out of the car and locked the doors. He tried to guilt me into letting him back in. I drove off and left him at the gas station. Typical Tim stuff. At one moment I had one of those rare, treasured moments of absolute beauty. I was overlooking a town at sunset and the sky had the most beautiful colors. In the middle of the sky, a sparkling firework erupted in the shape of a four-leaf color, no less radiant for the lack of darkness. Staring out at the scene, I realized it was the beautiful thing I had ever seen. I looked around me and noticed that no one else was paying attention. I tried to point out the magnificence to them, but I have a feeling that the sight was for me alone. Much like trying to describe this scene in words, the moment was lost to them. Beauty is, as they say, in the eye of the beholder.
