I don’t know how to fly a plane

I was going to fly a really old airplane and the plan was for me to parachute out over a random island and, I guess, let this historical aircraft crash into the sea. There were a lot of parts of this plan I didn’t trust, like was I going to land on an island or land in the ocean and drown? Would they find which island I was on?
