Personal elevator

I was in essentially a really fancy hotel, and the elevators were crazy. They were single person and worked similar to an escalator where you stand on two painted feed marks on the floor. There are 3 people in a triangular pattern and each goes up it’s own shaft which was essentially like a tube but it only stated kinda on the next floor and the base floor was like 2 floors tall. So anyways rhe floor is a grate and the lift comes up from under the floor and picks you up while you’re standing and then takes you to whatever floor you want. It also showed your weight as it took you up. It said I was 164lbs ( in the neighborhood lol) so as I took off I shouted at my dad who was next in line to check his weight when he went up. They were really cool but don’t make a ton of practical sense in real life. Each single person platform was like a metal flat square but once it went into the tube it was kinda like a normal elevator but small for a single person.
