Demon possession

This one was a strange dream, I suppose I'll call it a nightmare. I'm with my friends Cat and Catherine in this big house. I can't remember a whole lot but something in the house convinced Cat to commit suicide. Catherine and I didn't realize though for a while and thought Cat just left without a word. She tends to do that. The entity starts messing with us now, and can change our thought pattern. It would start torturing us where it would suck our air out and create a pressure where we couldn't breathe. It would constantly use different tactics and never stop (24/7). At one point I find a Bible, I'm not super religious but I try and read it thinking bit would help. The spirit would mock me and would force pages to rip or not let me finish any sentence. Eventually it found a way to force our souls out of our body so it could focus on hurting our souls instead. We could see our bodies and we knew it would start to decay the longer we were away. Catherine and I were together through the whole thing and probably the one reason why we lasted so long. We found out that Cat's soul was locked away in a tree outside the house somewhere. Her body was already rotting though, I just don't recall how we knew where it was. We were able to find a way to temporarily get away from the demon, so the dream kind of just ends with us having a break by us possessing another body and getting out of the house. I didn't make it back to my body in time to find a way to cleanse our souls etc... At the end of the dream, I woke up due to my dog barking. He doesn't do this often at all so it did frighten me. I also heard a little bang close to the front door, but part of me thinks that was just my dog moving in the kennel. Overall, I woke up a lot with this dream during the night, but the dream would continue as I fell back asleep. It has been a while since I've felt kind of scared like this.
