High school climbing contest

So I was in a contest with a bunch of high school girls and we had to travel to get to it so my mom and I stayed in a hotel and when I had to get ready I got up at 12:30 am and I made sure to leave before my mom could yell at me for being slow. I was supposed to leave at 12:30 which gave me no time to do my makeup so I just had my hair up in a messy bun with oily skin that desperately needed concealer. I might have been in my pajamas still. But I was at the booth where you had to apply and my best friend showed up with my mom and they just looked at me. I don’t know what first happened when I first entered the contest but the second thing we had to do was go in this big auditorium. Then the walls went up around us and we had to climb our way out and whoever got to the top first won or got points. Only the twist was that the ropes that you had to climb would fall at random unknown places. They were also like rocks but the knots in the rope were the rocks that you had to climb. So we were in this pit and this girl who looked like Sabrina carpenter climbed up first. But she fell. I suddenly felt exhausted and I could barely walk to the ropes let alone climb them. This really smart and athletic girl I see in the hallways at school was on the ground crying and there was this referee guy standing over her helping her. And another student I think. I was torn as to whether I should help or focus on climbing. Nobody was making any progress when I woke up.
