There had been a total ban on weapons. I was at Juliette Stevenson's home. The house was freezing. She got back and told me to cook as she was tired. I had to try and use the warmth of the pipes to cook food. A man turned up with illicit weapons - axes, crossbows - wrapped in fabric. I considered stealing them, but remembered the principles of Nonviolence - that such an act would cause an escalation of suffering. A sewage pipe had burst in a city street. The men came to fix it with a van, sucking up the excrement. I was helping Theresa May organise a trip to Europe. We had to walk there - it wasn't far away. Boris Johnson and others were rushing ahead; she was frustrated and I calmed her down. We were testing out some new technology, similar to conference calling : people were using it deliberately in the wrong way, even exploiting the weakness of the programme. Chaos was about to break out.
