It stills scares me.

When I was younger, around 17, I was married. Where I am from you need parental consent and that is it. So. we were married June 6th and that July, we went out on a camping trip. I sometimes still dream of what happened. We went to Eastern TN in the mountains. Beautiful landscape. Our first night, no problems. We set up, had a fire, cooked, enjoyed each others company and read short stories to one another from a book of collections. The next day, we went mountain hiking. It was great. And here is where I dream of the experience. We got back around 7 PM. We, again, made a quick meal and around 8 30, 9 p.m. it was bedtime for us. around...I'd say 1 or two in the morn, my wife says..."*my name* Someone is outside." I grabbed the tactical hunting knife we brought and leaned up. Sure the f**k enough, I saw 8 or 10 points, like fat finger tips, pressing and prodding the tent. I grabbed the zip on my side (this tent had 2 entrance/exit spots) and pulled hard and fast and jumped out in pajamas expecting to give a shout to this guy and scare him off hopefully. That or kill him. I jump out and about 3 feet away from me, one hand on the tent, was a bear. not real big I'd say a "teenage" bear and those are the worst bc I knew if Mr. Black Black Bear as a kid was there, mom couldnt be far. Another note, I am terrified of bears and where we were the ranger said very, very little to no bears were spotted that season. He looked at me, I looked at him. he stood up off the tent and sat down. Not knowing what exactly to do I screamed a growl of intimidation at him. I knew 1 of 4 things was going to happen. he will attack me, his mom will attack me, both will attack me or he will leave. Thankfully, he hoped up gave me a "I'm sorry" cry and shuffled off. Of course, I told my wife what happened and she said "I dont think we should stay here again. We were there for the week. Our next 3 nights we spent at a hotel. When i dream of that it doesnt turn out that way. In the end, I'm mauled by a much larger, meaner bear. *Shivers.*
