Dependent of a witch

There was a boy. He was a descendent of a witch. But he didn’t know it. His mother went looking for him with his grandmother (who happened to resemble Shirley McClaine). Their search lead them to a prison. He was being lead out in a line up. When suddenly he locked eyes with the grandmother. At that moment the grandmother said, “wholly shit he can sense us”- as they were some distance from him. They ended up speaking to him for awhile. Jump into the future and the three are sitting in a room and a young girl comes in. Theynsense she knows. She’s the boys daughter from the future.
