Preparing for Granddaddy's Return

I dreamt that I was cooking for the whole Nelson family, when I found out my grandfather was supposed to be attending. My grandfather passed away in 1996, and in my dream it was 2021. Apparently he had been living his life somewhere else without us knowing. While everyone celebrated his return, I felt deep sadness and pain. My Uncle came to comfort me, since my Dad left us 9 years ago. I cried out to him about not knowing what my grandfather would be like and how he abandoned us for no reason. He said he understood, and patted me on the back. I never saw my grandfather come home in my dream.
