Nikki gets a C-

Nikki (a writer friend) was visiting. A book she had just written had been given a C- by a notoriously harsh critic, and she was incredibly happy. My mom told me to clean the house, and she gave me some incredibly strong-scented cleaner to do it with. Even after Nikki arrived I was still cleaning.
