Missing the Scary

I was at a big carnival-type place where the main attraction was this big haunted path where you walk through the woods and there are actors who scare you. You get paired up with a stranger and walk through together. I was there, but was working and it was taking a while. Emily was there and walking through, too. When I was done work, I went to the bathroom to change. It was really gross, with urine on the ground. So I stood in a non-urine spot and started to take my shirt off. But I realized I left my bag with clothes outside the stall. When I went to get them, I saw a friend whose kids needed to use the bathroom. So I let her go first and wound up talking to her. It was Amy Hermansen. Then I looked at my watch and saw that it was 9:38 and my tickets were for 9:30. So I raced to the booth and they were already giving me a hard time when I got there. Joe Bowman was running it. They said my person waited but they eventually found her someone else to go with. Joe told me someone was caught inside taking video so he wasn't even sure if I'd be able to come back. I left and then was at an outdoor hockey game. I was too late for that, too. Some guy who was new to it handed me a fat stack of money and the list of who scored. He was amazed at how much money we make playing.
