End of world

This is an older dream that I never recorded but it stayed in my head - i’m walking down a hill on a rocky road and at the base of the hill is a cliff. Sitting at the edge of the cliff is a compound of sorts. Looks to be military. There are trees on either side of the road but also a good portion of the sky open above. As I’m walking I hear a ripping sound in a giant boom and when I look up the sky rips down the middle. There is only white light pouring from the rip and then I wake up
