The One With the Dreaded Kissing Scene

I’m in what feels like a large basement with the Harry Potter cast when someone mentions that Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have to do their kissing scene tomorrow. They’re both wet and disheveled and look at each other anxiously. Daniel Radcliffe — who’s sitting so close to me that we’re pressed against each other — starts making jokes. I ask how many scenes Rupert and Emma have done without him and we struggle to come up with any. I look into my hand and see two tiny pills. I suddenly wonder if Rupert and Emma will want breath mints for their scene.
