More WILD tips from Falkor

👋 So, I just tried a WILD, it's 3 in the afternoon. I had more success than the usual weird feelings and I think I know why. (If anybody doesn't know what a WILD is, check out the top rated section of the dream wall) As soon as I let down and listened to a track for lucid dreaming, I had crazy hypnagogia (flashy lights in eyes) which is a good sign. Now usually I think to myself with an inside voice, you know, an inner monologue. This time was different, I purposefully "thought" with senses - what it felt like to go into sleep paralysis, what it felt like to walk, what I would see if I was walking through a field, what I can hear and smell. This had some great effect because as far as I can tell, the inner monologue doesn't let your body fall asleep as fast if at all. These thoughts of feelings didn't make my brain think I was awake and so started to send my body to sleep, that's the goal. I felt extreme sinking into my bed, I felt no sense of being in my room but rather an empty space and I could feel and sense my hearing start to go. Sadly I didn't go all the way, I became more aware because I don't get to that stage enough and then I started to think again. If you are trying or are going to try the WILD technique then this will get you there. TL;DR Shut that inner monologue up! 🍻
