Had a really horrible nightmare about getting an IV put in last night. Probably because im about to have surgery for the first time but whatever🙄 I had too watch this little boy get one first and he was super chill and calm about it. Then it was my turn and I was extremely nervous. The nurse was about to stick the needle in my arm and I screamed “WAIT WAIT NOT YET IM NOT READY” so she paused. Then I was like ok I think im ready but she still did it extremely quickly after that all the while saying “you’re such a brave girl you’re such a brave girl!!” I didn’t watch the needle go in bc I was too scared but I guess she was struggling to find a vein caused she was digging around in my arm with it and it hurt SO SO BAD. she was doing it for so long and with so much pressure that my middle finger started to curl in and my eyes rolled back in my head. Most painful dream of my life
