The One Where I Have Six Teenagers

Brody and I are taking a tour of a huge house we’re apparently considering buying. Brianna is with us, and I see her standing at the foot of the stairs and vaguely think about how I’d leave this staircase wooden but remove the carpeting. I go upstairs to look at the bedrooms and find several (either five or six) — including a large master bedroom, a small, pea green one with a shower on the back wall, and a very large, dark-colored one. I think about how this room will be perfect for “the girls” (I apparently have three teenage daughters) and the others will work fine for the boys (who I also have three of). We end up standing outside — the neighborhood gives me the feeling that we’re somewhere up north — at some point, and I notice that the neighbor has an antique blue car. I say something to Brody about how this is a sign that this is the perfect house for us.
