Monster of Darkness

There was a dark black monster on the streets. Had a huge gaping mouth that just swallowed up anything. It was darkness, so it wanted light. I escaped by throwing a bunch of chairs in its way and slowing it down. But then it came back - my parents were crazy scientists doing an experiment in the park and they created a beacon of light. At the beginning of the dream I was walking on rocky outcrops. I forget what happened there. I feel like I was hiding I was wearing funky clothes and jewelry and a child thought I was so cool.
