Party/treasure hunt

I was at a party and there was going to be an epic scavenger/treasure hunt. At first everyone was jamming out outside. Most of us ended up wet I don’t recall if it was water balloons or squirt guns or what. But after that we all started building a fire to dry off. After the fire the treasure hunt started. I went to take a piss and when I got back everyone was gone. There was an outbuilding and when I went inside there was a dirt floor and some ladders up onto the roof. There was a few people already on the ladder and they were starting to twist with multiple people. The dude organizing the event said they were just mild steel so I hopped off. One dude said he was going to dig his way to the treasure but I’m not sure if had any clues yet where it was…
