Futuristic Travel Orb Explodes

I'm at a cinema with the other teachers at the school I work at. We got there by using new transport technology whereby people enter metal bubbles that fly through tunnels at super fast speed. The technology is incredible but still new and unsafe. The film we're watching in the cinema is interrupted by reports that one of these travel orbs has exploded. One of our colleagues was aboard. We are shocked and upset.
