My poor bunnies

I had to take my bunnies to University and everyone was really happy to see them. I had to go to the toilet so put them back in their carrier. (Background knowledge, Im a 4th year bioveterinary science and veterinary nursing student and last year I worked along side 5th year vets, there was a really bad one, let’s call her Velma) When I went to the toilet Velma let them out, for some reason everyone started throwing confetti. I came back from the toilet to find my rabbits frozen with fear so I grabbed them and ran to the bathroom. I began to check them for injuries, everything looked fine apart from they weren’t opening their eyes. I went to open their eyelids and the were filled and stuck together with confetti. I started to try to take it out and woke up in floods of tears
