I’m sitting on a couch somewhere with my mom, Jacqueline, and Jennifer. At some point, Jacqueline starts making some kind of reference that makes me think Jennifer is pregnant. Afraid to upset anyone by assuming this, I play dumb until it’s clear that that’s what she’s talking about. I’m immediately ecstatic because I always feared that Jennifer wouldn’t have enough time to have a baby as she got older. I think about how to tell my dad and about how glad I am that she found Danny.
